Entries for our Student Invitational Art Show are due by 4 p.m. on Friday, February 17th, and the opening reception will be Thursday, February 23rd from 4-6 p.m. at E. E. Bass Cultural Arts Center. See rules and entry form here. We are excited to be able to offer prizes to the winning artists for the 2nd year in a row now, thanks to the generosity of the Delta Artists Association! Big thanks to our show sponsor, Greater Greenville Housing & Revitalization Association, Inc. , and to Garfield’s Restaurant for donating food to the reception.

Nov. 5th CEU Workshop

Teachers had so much fun at our first Saturday CEU workshop of the 2016-2017 school year! Mississippi Arts Commission Teaching Artist Patricia Carreras led energizing and inspiring lessons on using story theatre with mask-making, movement, and puppetry arts, thus integrating visual and performing arts with ELA/literacy. Here are some photos from the workshop– and don’t forget, we still have 2 more CEU workshops planned for this school year (January 28th & April 8th).
