HARRIET TUBMAN AND THE UNDERGROUND RAILROAD

A historical drama with music

Tuesday, February 19th 6 PM

Portraying the life of Harriet Tubman, the escaped slave who worked to free other slaves, Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad is a thrilling play about danger, friendship, spies, fugitives, soldiers and the pursuit of the American dream. Through music and colorful imagery, audiences will discover the life of a young girl, Arminta (a.k.a Harriet Tubman), who grew up to become one of our nations’ greatest heroines before, during and after the American Cival War. The life of this amazing woman known as “Moses” comes to life in this riveting drama with music. The cast and crew of the performance will be providing an audience talkback for the 6 p.m. showing that is open to the public.
