Delta Children’s Museum Presents “Three Billy Goats Gruff”

Get excited Lower Elementary Teachers, nationally recognized Bit’s N Pieces Theater is coming to the E.E. Bass Cultural Arts Center on Thursday, October 17th to present Three Billy Goats Gruff! With two shows (9:00AM and 10:30AM), this larger-than-life puppet theater presentation of the 19th-century Norwegian fairy-tale is sure to entertain and fascinate the minds and hearts of elementary students all over Washington County. Don’t Miss the 3rd Annual Student Invitational

The Student Invitational exhibition will open tomorrow, Thursday, April 11, 2013 from 5-7 pm at E.E. Bass Cultural Arts Center. Light refreshments will be served and all students who participated will be presented with a Certificate of Participation. This event will feature the talent and artistic ability of the students in our community and provide them the unique opportunity to have their work displayed in the E.E. Bass Cultural Arts Center. Leland resident and Director of District and Alumni Partnerships for the Mississippi Delta Region of Teach for America Elizabeth Harris will be the juror of our exhibition. She will identify the award winners from the assembled works. Submitted artwork will be judged in five different age categories, including High School, Grades 6-8, Grades 4-5, Grades 1-3 and Grades Pre-K-K. The exhibit will be on display at E.E. Bass through Friday, May 10, 2013.

ARTWORK DUE TODAY – 3rd Annual Student Invitational

The deadline for submission for the Greenville Arts Council’s Third Annual Student Invitational is TODAY! The exhibition will open on Thursday, April 11, 2013 and will run through Friday, May 10, 2013 at the E.E. Bass Cultural Arts Center in Greenville. This event will feature the talent and artistic ability of the students in our community and provide them the unique opportunity to have their work displayed in the E.E. Bass Cultural Arts Center. All artwork is to be submitted in person by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3rd to the Greenville Arts Council office at 323 South Main Street.
