Check Out Science Fun Day!

40 volunteers + 550 students + Dr. John Hunt = one AMAZING Science Fun Day!

Last Thursday and Friday, Dr. and Mrs. John Hunt of Pearl, MS set up shop at Riverside Elementary School and presented Science Fun Day, their widely acclaimed school science program, for all of the 4th, 5th and 6th (and half of the 3rd) grade  students of the Western Line School District. On Friday, students went through 4 minute rotations of 30 different science investigation station that were led by volunteers who had been trained on Thursday. Science Fun Day!

Whoa this is exciting! On September 22 and 23rd, the Western Line Public School District will be hosting Dr. John Hunt’s widely acclaimed Science Fun Day for their 3rd-6th grade students. Science Grabbers – September 24th

This fall the Greenville Arts Partnership will be hosting Professional Development on three different Saturdays, taught by Mississippi Teaching Artists that specialize in science, literacy, math and social science arts integration.

Dr. John Hunt of Pearl, Mississippi will be presenting a FREE 6 hour Professional Development on Saturday, September 24th from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at E.E. Bass Cultural Arts Center for educators in Greenville Public and Western Line School District; non-GAP educators can attend the workshop for $60. CEU credits are available for all interested participants. Space is limited, make your reservation today by contacting Megan Hines at the Greenville Arts Council.
