National Arts in Education Week is September 13th-19th this year!
“Arts education, comprising a rich array of disciplines including dance, music, theatre, media arts, literature, design, and visual arts, is a core academic subject and an essential element of a complete and balanced education for all students.” –U.S. House of Representatives 2010 Resolution.
We’ll be sharing pictures, videos, and links on the Greenville Arts Council’s Facebook page and Instagram highlighting arts education this week, and we encourage you to join the conversation! Use the hashtag #ArtsEdWeek on social media, plus:
> Show us a picture of student artwork or a performance with #EncourageCreativity.
>Or tell us about an arts educator who made a difference with #TeachTheArts
