The Greenville Arts Partnership is a collaboration between the Greenville Arts Council (GAC), Greenville Public School District, Western Line School District, and our three community arts partners, Delta Center Stage, Delta Symphony Association and the Delta Childrens Museum. The Partnership is focused on full arts integration in elementary schools.
Our partnership was the first in the state of Mississippi accepted into the Kennedy Center Partners in Education Program in 2003, joining over 100 other partnerships between school districts and arts organizations across the country. As a member of the Kennedy Center Partners In Education, members of the Greenville Arts Partnership attend an Annual Meeting, and have access to high-quality professional development, current research in arts education and integration.
One of the requirements of the Partners in Education program is that we need to complete a needs assessment each year to gauge where professional development is needed. This needs assessment is designed to gather information about where your comforts are in regards to using arts integration as a teaching strategy so that the Greenville Arts Council can work with the Greenville Public School District to plan professional development during the 2012-2013 school year.
Please be honest with your responses, the survey is anonymous unless you choose to identify yourself at the end of the survey. Information gathered in this survey will be used internally within the partnership and may be used in the future for grant application purposes.
The survey should take between 5-10 minutes to complete, thank you for your participation! Complete the GPSD 2012-2013 Needs Assessment by clicking here!
